This is my 300zx Story

I dont know who's car this is but if you object to my use of the photo, please advise.

I purchased my first 300zx in 2004.  After many happy miles and many pricey mods,  I totaled it on the track in English Town, NJ on 5/30/2008,  A day I will never forget.  Soon after I found a great replacement on EBay for $2850. The car is a flood car but it doesn't matter to me because I going through the whole car part by part, system by system. .  It had a few problems, hicas light, bulb check light.  I sorted them all out before I disassembled the interior.

When I'm done, the car will look like the picure to the left and have the mods to run strong.

The aftermath of the 100MPH crash, and disposal after part out, I was sad to see her go for scrap.

My new Z, 1993 TT,  The car was seriously rough around the edges but it drove and ran well.
Work started October 5, 2008.

Foam in the Rails     Bracket reinforced
with mild steel
Additional support
for air box to prevent
movement and rattles

Anti rattle Emergency Brake mod

Carputer touch screen install, auto-dimming rear view mirror.   It's installed very rough right now and I'm developing it in pace slowly.  The carputer should fit nicely under the passenger seat.

Fender Braces, they tend to rust so I sanded and painted them.
I bought these used on ebay so the forward bolt and install device was
missing so I simply welded them in.

Custom radiator, correct 1, 3/8 necks, hood props too!    Electric radiator fan setup

The only pict I snapped during the timing belt change.

Rear suspension remake, rebuilt and painted calipers, new pads, shocks and resurfaced rotors.

Picked up some Wheels!  SSR Integra A2, I love 'em.  Cleaned up and inside painted black

PTU and Carbon
Canister relocate
Lots of room behind the
driver side intercooler now.

Godspeed intercoolers,  Cheap and effective.
These large cores will be getting 9' electric fans to cool them no matter the car's speed

New from Brakes, Skyline calipers and custom made two piece rotors.
I dropped about 12 pounds off of each side.

There are no ready made 2 piece rotors
for the skyline calipers that have been
fitted to a 300zx so I to make my own.

Let the body work begin...

I welded up the holes where the old
spoiler attached.
A 1994+ spoiler will be fitted instead.
Huge dent fix in progress,
I pulled it out, shrunk the metal
